presswood or particle board! All of our furniture is made of
well-constructed solid wood. Much of the “wood” furniture you find
elsewhere is made of veneered particle board and presswood. Be a smart
consumer! Solid wood will last a lifetime, expanding and contracting with
weather and temperature changes. This natural flexibility of the wood
causes no changes in the structural integrity of your furniture. On the
other hand, furniture made with even a little particle board or fiberboard will quickly fall apart because
it is unable to expand and contract as needed, causing joints to separate,
warping and breaking. Screws, staples and nails will just pullout.
Solid wood can also be repaired, sanded and refinished if necessary!
