Payments & Refunds
To place an order or hold an in-stock item, a 50% deposit is required. The balance must be paid in full before you pick up or accept delivery to your home. Clearance items must be paid for in full at time of purchase.

Hassle-free full refunds are available for in stock items returned or cancelled within 7 days from time of purchase. There are no restocking fees. Items must be returned in the same condition as they were in when they were purchased. Ordered items (i.e., not in stock at the time of purchase), delivery fees and clearance items are not refundable or exchangeable. If you need us to pick up the item being returned, standard delivery fees will apply.

Choosing Colors
Color and grain variations are inherent to natural wood products and represent the true beauty of the wood. Our wood stain sample blocks are provided to help you visualize approximate colors and your finished product may not necessarily be identical to a particular sample block. No two trees are the same and the grain, texture, color depth and base color of wood may vary from one piece to another.

Measuring
You are responsible for making certain your furniture will fit in your home and will get to its destination by carefully measuring your space including doorways, stairways, elevators, etc.

Timing
We do our best to provide an accurate lead time for when your ordered furniture will arrive to us, but these are always approximate and are based on the information provided by the manufacturer at the time of your order. We have no control over the manufacturing process or the transportation system, but we always try our best to be as accurate as possible.

Delivery of your furniture
Our reasonable delivery fees are based on distance to be traveled and total cost of your order and are done by our own staff, not an outside delivery service. Our deliveries are "white glove" and everything is placed in your home where you want it and includes set up of beds, wall units, etc.

Derbyshire's staff cannot drill into any walls and cannot move existing furniture, audio/visual equipment, or other similar items. Anti-tipping hardware is your responsibility to install. You are responsible for clearing any spaces in advance and ensuring that access to your home and movement within your home is safe and free of snow, ice, debris, or any other obstacles. When your furniture arrives to us, it is inspected your staff and then we will call you to set up a convenient delivery date and will provide you wish a 2-hour window on that date. Our delivery crew will call you on the delivery day only if something unexpected occurs and this window changes.

Delivery must be accepted within 14 days, of notification of availability. If you cannot accept delivery within this 14-day period, your order must be paid for in full and you will need to make other storage arrangements.

Pick up of your furniture
If you choose not to have your furniture delivered by us, pick-ups are done at our warehouse which is 3.5 miles from the showroom. When your furniture arrives too us it is inspected by us and then we call you to notify you that it is available. The warehouse is unmanned so arrangements need to be made in advance. Our staff will help you I ad your vehicle but cannot assist with tie-downs and Derbyshire's and its staff hold no responsibility or damage, accidents, etc. Most items are not boxed so bring blankets to protect your furniture for the ride home. Pick-ups must be made within 14 days of notification of availability. If you are no able to pick up within this 14-day period, your order must be paid for in full and you will need to make other storage arrangements. Anti-tipping hardware is your responsibility to install at your home.

Problems
Derbyshire's takes pride in the quality and craftmanship of our furniture are we are committed to your satisfaction, but sometimes things do 't go totally right. We're here to help. Please fully inspect your purchase upon delivery or pick-up. Should you report any difficulty with your furniture within 14 days after receipt, we will send out a service technician to correct any problems. If we are unable to correct the problems, we will take additional action through the manufacturer.

Manufacturer warranties may apply. All merchandise must be serviced by Derbyshire's first. For any problems that you may have beyond the 14 days of receipt, we will attempt to repair merchandise in your home at a cost of the basic delivery charge to your town, $99 per hour labor plus the cost of parts. If you are able to bring the piece to our location for repair, the charge will be $99 per hour plus parts.
